Why are you a volunteer?

I want discover the world, and see how live is abroad from my small village. I also want to work in a useful projekt and see a new point of view from the people I work with.

Why did you choose Norway?

I have read that Norway is a good country to find out things about yourself. Because live is not very busy here and you have a lot of time.

What do you do?

My projekt have a very wide spectrum. I work with all kind of people. There is football, baking and discothek with mental disabled people, juniorsclub with children from 7 – 12, making food in school and sometimes I help old people cleaning snow or go shopping with them. We also organize an International Cafè.

What is bad about being a volunteer?

You have to know the whole timetable from the busses and boats. Because without you always have to stay at the place you are (I make a very bad experiences whit this…).

Three typical norwegian things?

Of course the mobile. The age doesn`t matter, everbody have one.

Everybody use one-way plasticbags for shopping (very bad….).

Hva er du fra?

Jeg er fra Tyskland.

Your best Norwegian experience?

Crashing all people while we were dancing around the chrismastree… J

There are a lot nice experiences: see that the people like your International Cafè, kajaking in the Fjord, see the really, really blue glacier, meeting people all over the world on the seminar,…

If you had three optional things to do, what would you do?

Buy a car in Norway :-)

Your favorite Norwegian food?

Definitly not the sheep head….
