Why are you a volunteer?

Because I like to explore new cultures, meet new people, travel new places and challenge my self and volunteering in another country is a great way to experience other people's everyday life.

Why did you choose Wales?

I chose Wales because I met some people years before from Wales, on an exchange, and I found it interesting and exciting and I wanted to learn more about dragon, castles, welsh language and everything else they have to offer :-)

What do you do?

I worked at the local youth centre, as a youth worker and I were also in charge of a film/music amateur studio they had.

What is bad about being a volunteer?

I can't recall anything bad about being a volunteer. There will be short periods of time were you miss your friends or home country, but that passes quickly. Leaving is always hard..

Three typical Welsh things?

Cliffs and beautiful countryside

Castles (looks like they came out of a fairytale)

Pubs and cwrw (beer in welsh)

What was your first phrase in Welsh?

Hwyl! Asso dwi, mea byw y Norwy. 2 cwrw, diolch (some misspelling here, but I think its mostly all right) Hi! Asso I am (I am Asso), I live in Norway . Two beers, please.

Your best EVS experience?

That has to be all the interesting people I met!!!!!!!!

Your favorite Welsh food?

??? I'm afraid I cant remember any special welsh food…

If you had optional things to do, what would you do?

I would like to go caving again, travel more in the country side/northern Wales and live in Cardiff

The most important phrases in your job:
