Why are you a volunteer?
I decided to take a gap year, to have some fun!!! I could travel, see other cultures, partying, be useful and have a really good time, all at the same time
Why did you choose Wales?
I choose Wales , so that I could develop my English to another level. But it was also the only project I could find at that time, but I don't regret it because I had a wonderful time.
What do you do?
I live at the mental hospital in Cardiff , and “worked” at a daycentre for elderly people. Well I didn't work that much, I sort off kept the elderly with company. I could play cards, chess, domino, crosswords, play balloon activities or just talk. My patients especially liked balloon activities, it was quit funny to see how much fun people could have with just a balloon.
What is bad about being a volunteer?
The bad thing about being a volunteer is that you always have just enough money to make it trough the week. Another thing is that you don't always get to do everything you want to, like I never got to go to London L
