The Youth Exchange will take place in Alencon, Normandie, France.

Below is a rough guide to what we hope will take place.

10 young people aged (15-19 years) and two youth workers from Norway, Estonia, France and England will work in mixed groups together throughout the project. The programme will be based around outdoor activities, including climbing, kayaking, mountain biking and horse riding.

All of the young people will have the opportunity to experience each these activities during the first few days of the exchange, following these introductions to the sports, all of the participants will then take part in an expedition for two to three days, using one of the activities of their choice as the mode of transport.

There will also be a community development element to the exchange, this will involve the young people building an orienteering course through the wooded grounds of a large stately house.

Depending on the final funding situation, a day trip to Paris could be included in the programme.

Accommodation will be a mixture camping and rooms in a riverside 'hostel'.

It'll be great fun and an excellent opportunity for taking part in new experiences
