Getting to know Tviberg
The groups in one of the houses woke up to the smell of pancakes, made by Sean.. Yummy!!!! The breakfast put us in good shape for the day ahead.
We walked up to the highest point of Tviberg which stands at 182 metres high. The mountain sometimes got very steep, and at certain points we needed to climb. When we reached the peak, we were reworded with excellent views. We could see the mountain tops, what Tom called Glaciers, with snow on them. We were a bit restricted to what we could see, because of the clouds in the distance.
Another group went out sailing and saw at least 20 seals! They were sunbathing and were also very curious. As we got nearer, the seals went down into the water. They all dived down very quickly, but came soon back.
We then got back to take part in the fieldwork, which consisted of rebuilding a wall. It certainly looked better than before!
But I noticed that one person was always missing – Andriy Avramenko.
While everybody were working hard (except from Andriy), the Welsh women were busy cooking food for Welsh night.
We all took part in welsh night. First we had mashed potatoes, Leehs, eggs and cheese sauce. It floated down into everyone’s stomach- mmmmmmm!!
Secondly, we had "Bara Brith" which went down very well. (Cosmin had about 15 pieces). This was followed by Welsh cakes.
After the dinner, we all had to witness the punishment for George who has taken some of O.J.’s food with out his permission. Firstly Kjetil demonstrated by walking the plank and then gravity forced him down into the water. Then Faisal had the urge for the feeling of water so he jumped. Also Andriy was to near the water to not go in, so the others pushed him. Then roger decided that he didn’t bother to take a shower, so he jumped in with his boxer shorts and life jacket. Kinky?!
Afterwards the Romanian started some interesting games witch most people joined in with. We also had a choice of bonfire to go to, but we went to the big bonfire and shouted "Rock" and "Robert Bouchard", to the group who went to the top of the mountain. They answered back with "Voulez vous couchez avec moi, ce soir!!"(Will you sleep with me tonight?)
