An exchange themed on „ European myths and legends “.
We hope to have the financing to arrange this in October 2006, The application will be dealt with in Slovakia. We expect a final answer in July/August 2006.
Intercultural evening
• presentation of every country (history, culture, life of youth)
• Presentation by some movies, photos, music, food, drinks…
• Also you can teach other participants some traditional dances from your country…
Magic night
• every group will prepare one evening, full of interesting stories, legends, myths from their country or nation
• It should be something like presentation, interesting, creative, maybe funny, maybe terrified :)
• you can use drama/theatre, reading, dance, songs, special effects, costumes… everything, what you want
• you can prepare it inside or outside (depends also on the weather)
• you can be as creative as you want
Masquerade (fancy dress ball)
• evening with music, dance, in costumes
• we will hear also traditional music, we will learn some historical dances…
Visit of Saris castle (CASTRO SARUS)
• we will spend whole day in the ruins of old castle near the Presov
• There is beautiful nature around, perfect view on the city and surroundings…
• We will have there also lunch.
• During the evening we will talk about horrible stories there :)
• Also we will have as a dinner baked (roasted) pig and lot of vegetables, fruits (like on the medieval dinner)
Common hand made book
• during the exchange we will collect out national myths, legends and stories, we will write it to special books in leather binding,
• we will draw there pictures, add some photos from the exchange
• At the end of the exchange every group will have own book, full of stories, memories, photos about legends and also about exchange
We will spend this exchange on the place, where the nature is really nice; there is also possibility to swim and to track the hills… I hope that it is interesting for you. If you want to add some activity or something, it is possible now. Also we should discuss about the concrete days of exchange.
