Program and activities

The original program was too busy, but we managed to improvise very smoothly!

Our part (time between 16.30 and 18.00) didn’t really work as we wanted. Mostly it was ok because the participants were often very tired and needed some free time. It was a bit frustrating to begin with something and not being able to end it properly (e.g. video and interview). A second version of the ’best/worst-moment of the day’ was finished, but has never been shown to everybody.

There were a few communicationproblems; it was not always very clear who did what and who was in charge. Double messages were given out and people sometimes didn’t know what others were doing.

Some people were very irritated by the ’linedance’ weekend during the exchange.

Guitarman; for us we are divided in our opinion. Some thought it was really good and magical, some thought it was too boring (especially as a lot of us were very tired) and missed somethng in his playing.

We missed a central ’meeting’ place. The missing link didn’t really do as it was not always accessible and the office was not situated in a good place as well. A central meeting place might have contributed to the activities as the spiderweb, ’did you know that…’, the road and integration.

Fjordtrip. Too long and too much bus. It would have been nice if people could have been a bit more outside.

Pity we couldn’t sleep in a snowcave.

Leaders

It was not always clear who the leaders were. This was a problem for some of us.

The outdoor activities leaders did a real good job in breaking boundaries with participants! They were good in persuading people to do things they might have not done otherwise.

Participants

Maybe we should be more critical choosing the participants. It was not a problem in this exchange, but they were not all as the ’aim-group’ should be.

Little mixing between the countries, especially between the welsh and italian.

Hotel and food

The food was ok, maybe too much of the same sometime. The breakfast/lunch and especially the dinner were nice moments to be all together.

The hotel was a good place for the exchange. Very well accessible for disabled people.

Swimmingpool was too cold..

Negative and positive points

In general we think that it was a very good exchange. Everybody was happy and there were no big dissapointments, exept that it was too few Norwegians. It was a positive week, full of smiles!

It was good that it was only adults.

Without Guillaume, Marius might have been lost!

We think the volunteers were a good link between the countries..
